Berlin, July 22, 2009 - O&O DiskImage 4 Express Edition / data imaging for everybody
The Berlin-based software publisher O&O Software GmbH offers with immediate effect the new version of its successful "imaging solution for the people": O&O DiskImage 4 Express. This free version creates images of the entire computer and restores individual drives. The easy application makes it especially attractive for users who have previously considered creating data images a complicated procedure. The user simply chooses the folder where the image is to be created, and then clicks on "start" – and that's it. Data can then later be restored easily in the event of a sudden loss or system problem.
New and advanced functions
Easy to use:
The user does not have to labor through multiple settings before creating an image with O&O DiskImage 4 Express. O&O DiskImage 4 Express Edition can be started without a previous installation, and an image of you computer is created with just one click.
Restoration of individual files:
For the first time, image files from O&O DiskImage 4 Express can be mounted as virtual hard drives. Individual files are copied and subsequently restored with the help of Windows Explorer.
O&O DiskImage product family:
O&O DiskImage 4 Professional Edition should be used when system partitions have to be restored, or if data from damaged systems is to be imaged. This imaging professional can do everything that a data imaging solution should do: different imaging methods, creation of images of damaged systems and the restoration of system partitions. O&O DiskImage 4 Express and Professional Edition are complemented by the network-capable Workstation and Server Editions.
