Additional Features of the Server and Workstation Edition

The Workstation and Server Editions will let you run the following network functions using O&O Enterprise Management Console 3

Easy defragmentation of the entire company network
Management of your computers in sites
Create settings for sites
Creation of a timetable for automatic defragmentation on computers across a network in just a few clicks (Defragmentation Jobs)
Automatic remote installation of O&O Defrag on network computers
Integration in Active Directory und group policies for network distribution and configuration of software
Execution of Windows commands (batches) before and after defragmetation

The O&O Enterprise Management Console 3 is delivered on a separate CD – the O&O Network Components CD. It is part of your software delivery if you have acquired licences in the volume licence program of O&O EasyLicensing. If you have not received a CD or are not in possession of a volume licence contract, please contact us. We will send you the CD and be happy to advise you about applying O&O Enterprise Management Console 3 within your company.

Differences within the Editions

O&O Defrag 11 is available in three versions:

The Professional Edition makes images of an entire desktop computer or individual drives. It cannot be used on a server system and contains no network management.

The Workstation Edition incorporates the interfaces necessary to control O&O DiskImage across a network in connection with O&O Enterprise Management Console 3. The Workstation Edition can only be used on desktop computers.

The Server Edition incorporates the interfaces necessary for controlling O&O Defrag across a network in connection with O&O Enterprise Management Console 3. It can be used on both server computers and desktop computers.
